Far cry 4 save slots

We have two separate Steam accounts, two separate Windows logins, but only one of us can play Far Cry Primal, as there only appears to be one account that can have access to the game. This is absolutely ridiculous. If we legally buy a game, any member of our household should be able to play the game and have their own save points.
